The RIAA certified GOLD song “A Guy Walks Into A Bar” is the first radio single released off Farr’s sophomore album, Suffer In Peace, which released on April 28. The Melissa Peirce/Jonathan Singleton/Brad Tursi co-written track is Farr’s THIRD No. 1 song following “Redneck Crazy” and “Whiskey In My Water” from the Missouri native’s debut album Redneck Crazy (2013).

Marling was handpicked by the family of Texas singer/songwriter Townes Van Zandt and the producers of ACL Live to perform her version of the 2015 inductee’s “Colorado Girl.” Also performing that evening will be Lyle Lovett, Gillian Welch, Vince Gill, Jason Isbell, Patty Loveless, Los Lobos frontman David Hidalgo, Los Texmaniacs and Townes’ son JT Van Zandt. The celebration, hosted by GRAMMY award winning country artist Dwight Yoakam, honors the second class of inductees with one-of-a-kind music performances and tributes. The four other trailblazing artists who will be inducted along with Van Zandt on the special night are Loretta Lynn, Guy Clark, Flaco Jiménez, and Asleep at the Wheel.
