Fifth Harmony’s Reflection Released

After months of excitement and anticipation, Fifth Harmony (Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello, and Dinah Jane) release their full-length debut album, Reflection [SYCO/Epic Records], in stores and through all online outlets today. Mastodon Goes Colored Vinyl

Globally acclaimed hard rock icons and vinyl aficionados, Mastodon, have announced they will reissue all of their Reprise Records titles on vinyl in the coming months. The first album in the series will be 2006’s Blood Mountain, which will be issued on a mix of solid yellow and transparent green vinyl on March 3rd. Upon its release, Guitar World called Blood Mountain “pulverizing” with an “utter restlessness that grips you tighter with each cut.” It also placed at No. 9 on Rolling Stone’s Top 50 Albums of 2007.

U2’s Innocence + Experience Tour Adds Dates

Having sold out nearly every one of its 60 previously announced dates, U2’s iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015 has confirmed additional shows in New York and Chicago: a seventh show at NYC’s Madison Square Garden July 30 and a fifth night at Chicago’s United Center July 2 have been added due to overwhelming demand and will both be on sale to the general public 10 a.m. local time Tuesday, February 10 at livenation.com.

James McMurtry Tours For Complicated Game

James McMurtry will launch an extensive U.S. tour supporting his elegant new release Complicated Game with stops in New York City, Nashville and other major markets. “Back before Napster and Spotify, we toured to promote record sales,” McMurtry says. “Now we make records to promote tour dates.” Clearly, the sea change has only inspired the singular songwriter. “At a stage where most veteran musicians fall into a groove or rut, McMurtry continues to surprise,” Texas Music magazine recently noted. “[Complicated Game] is a collection of narratives as sharply observed as any from McMurtry, but with a contemplative depth that comes with maturity.”
