Retox’s Beneath California Streams

The Los Angeles-based punk band currently consists of Justin Pearson (The Locust, Head Wound City, All Leather, Swing Kids), Michael Crain (Festival of Dead Deer, Kill the Capulets), Brian Evans, and Keith Hendriksen (Kill the Capulets, Virginia Reed). Since their conception in 2011, they have toured with similarly like-minded acts such as Melt-Banana, Tomahawk, OFF!, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and Trash Talk. Retox is a band that aims to simultaneously reflect and defy, using music as a way of holding a broken mirror to the rest of us, exposing different pieces of our own fucked up realities, and forcing the acknowledgement of the inevitable self-imposed apocalypse we are creating for ourselves.

Full Devil Jacket Offers Valley Of Bones

Fresh off announcing their new label home, FULL DEVIL JACKET has wasted no time. The band will release VALLEY OF BONES on March 31, 2015 via eOne Music, their first full length in over a decade. Produced by Justin Rimer (12 Stones), it’s a victorious and impossible to ignore sophomore slab, simultaneously resurrecting and updating the band’s hard rock sound. Longtime fans will recognize plenty of signature elements, but this is the Full Devil Jacket of old on steroids.

Sylvan Goes Home

Sweredriver’s “Autodidact” Streams

Dwight Yoakum’s Second Hand Heart Coming

Internationally renowned recording artist, songwriter, and actor Dwight Yoakam will release a brand-new album, entitled Second Hand Heart, on April 14th, 2015. The album marks the multiple GRAMMY Award winner’s return to the Warner family. Yoakam released a series of albums on Reprise Records beginning with his debut, Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc., in 1986.

Becca Stevens To Release Perfect Animal

The New York Times says she is “a vocalist and guitarist who balances deep melody against lyrical caprice.” With the new Becca Stevens Band album Perfect Animal, coming April 7th on Universal Music Classics, she has sharpened her voice as a songwriter and bandleader. Stevens filters her myriad influences (indie rock, R&B, jazz, West African music, folk) into a singular, electrifying sound on Perfect Animal.
