Jeff Beck Gets Book’d

The legendary JEFF BECK has signed an exclusive publishing deal with the London-based Genesis Publishing Group. Plans to release a high quality ‘signed, limited-edition’ book are in the works for release in the last quarter of 2015. In addition, BECK is hard at work on an officially sanctioned documentary and is currently penning his own autobiography.

Moon King To Premiere Secret Life

In the words of songwriter Daniel Benjamin, Toronto-based duo Moon King’s new album is “a collection of very sad songs played with all the joy and energy possible.” Their US audiences will get to experience that first hand this spring when the band tour this spring with Daniel’s brother, recent Sub Pop signee Doldrums. Today’s tour announcement comes on the heels of warmly received run of UK dates for the Toronto duo, which saw them play to sold out venues as part of their UK and European tour with fellow Canadian breakouts Alvvays.

Wire’s “Joust & Jostle” Gets Noisey

Wire is delighted to announce the release of their new self-titled album on April 21 via pinkflag. Noisey has premiered “Joust & Jostle” from the forthcoming record and the song is also available to post and share via SoundCloud. Wire has also announced a summer US tour which will make stops in major markets including Seattle, Los Angeles, Boston, New York and more.

Metalhead Coming On Demand April 3rd

Boasting a soundtrack of ‘80s/‘90s headbanging classics, Icelandic director Ragnar Bragason’’s intense drama Metalhead will be available On Demand starting April 3. Distributed by Cinelicious Pics, the VOD release will arrive shortly after a handful of special screenings being held nationwide, including at New York’s Cinema Village (March 20 – 26) and Los Angeles’ Laemmle NoHo 7 (March 27 – April 2) along with Seattle’s SIFF Uptown Theatre (Feb. 27 – March 1) and Portland’s Hollywood Theatre (April 10 – 16). The movie will be shown in eight cities (with more to be announced soon) and a full list of screenings can be found below.
