Alexander Wildwood’s “Bad Blood” Arrives

“Summer Skin” Gives Way to “Bad Blood”

A New High Seas Tale from Alexander Wildwood Scheduled for Digital Release on August 29

Singer-Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alexander Wildwood recently came on to the scene this summer in a big way with his debut single “Summer Skin” and is quick to follow-up with a second smash, “Bad Blood” this month. Both singles are off of Wildwood’s forthcoming debut ep, scheduled for release this October.

If you don’t know Alexander Wildwood, it might be because he grew up in the middle of the ocean. But, once you hear his music, you’ll be thankful for the introduction. Wildwood was raised on a yacht, sailing the world to a soundtrack of Neil Young and The Beach Boys.

Now, from his home studio on New Zealand’s picturesque East Coast, he’s creating something as unique and as enviable as his boyhood. Wildwood writes, produces and records his own music. This freedom allows songs to evolve, and creativity to flow naturally. Ever-inspired from both his surroundings and his literary heroes – Hemingway, Salinger and Bukowski – to pen lyrics that read like journal entries laid bare, Wildwood’s sound is a folk-rock hybrid with a polished pop sensibility.

“Bad Blood” is mixed by Nic Manders and mastered by Andy Vandette (David Bowie, Metric). “Summer Skin” and “Bad Blood” are both off of Alexander Wildwood’s debut EP, releasing Fall 2014.
