Mike Ragogna: Did you have any favorite Alan Parsons Project singles?

Alan Parsons: Hmmm…you know, we never really tried to make singles, per se. We always strove to make albums work as a whole. In a way, we were born into the right generation to do that because people did go buy an album and sit down, turn the lights down and light up, and play an album from start to finish. It’s just something they don’t do anymore. And you still had to get up and turn the record over. (laughs) That’s a kind of missing link in the chain for me, going from side one to side two.
