Featuring Slick Rick, DJ Red Alert, Jazzy Jay, Das EFX, Tony Touch, Large Professor, + More!

The twenty-first annual blowout returns to Central Park Summerstage this Sunday, July 27 as part of Hip-Hop Culture’s 40th Anniversary Festival

Live performances from rap icon Slick Rick, Queen’s own Cormega, Brooklyn’s M.O.P., Das EFX, and Large Professor (Main Source) will be supported by turntable masters DJ Red Alert, Jazzy Jay, Tony Touch, JS-1 and Kaotic Blaze at this year’s Rock Steady Crew Anniversary Concert taking place Sunday, July 27, at Central Park’s Summerstage.

The annual concert, which has taken place at the end of every July for the past 21 years, reunites Hip-Hop’s most influential dancers, graffiti artists, DJs and rappers in honor of the pioneering B-Boy crew, founded 37 years ago. This year’s line up includes Slick Rick, one of the most iconic rhymers in the game, synonymous with adding mic-droppin’ humor to rap; radio personality, producer, and social activist DJ Red Alert who has helped break some of Hip-Hop’s biggest acts and supported its most positive movements including Native Tongues; and Rock Steady Crew, who have influenced dancers of all styles in countries around the world.

Universal Zulu Nation has been instrumental in inspiring, launching and supporting their careers. Sunday’s reunion, hosted by EOW (End of the Weak), also features Smoothe Da Hustler featuring Trigger Tha Gambler & General DV, Thirstin Howl the 3rd, Chris Rivers, Latina poet and MC MyVerse and special surprise guest appearances.
