7Horse continues to criss-cross the country in support of their latest album Songs for a Voodoo Wedding, out now. Look for them on a September run with the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band (Aug. 30 – Sept. 13) followed by a trek with Whisky Myers.

Songs For A Voodoo Wedding was produced by bandmates, Phil Leavitt and Joie Calio. The follow-up to their debut album Let The Horse Run, which had notable success and spawned the song Meth Lab Zoso Sticker that was featured in Martin Scorsese’s film The Wolf of Wall Street and the CW’s Hart of Dixie. The song was also selected for a mashup single by Method Man.

But with the new album there is a progression in their sound, On Request Magazine says Songs for a Voodoo Wedding is “Filled with gritty rock vocals mixed with sweet blues melodies and soulful lyrics” and New York Music Daily thinks it’s “a shout-out to an “ancient recipe” that never fails to hit the spot,” while Rust Magazine deems it “Classic to the Core” and Rockn’Roll Truth calls it “fiery and freewheeling.”
