TOO CLOSE TO TOUCH ANNOUNCE SUMMER TOUR Band to tour with I The Mighty Too Close To Touch have announce a series of North American dates this summer supporting San Francisco’s I the Mighty. The tour will begin June 25 in Orangevale, CA and wrap July 24 in Santa Cruz, CA. Too Close To Touch will be performing in support of their debut record Nerve Endings which came out on Epitaph last month. All on sale times and locations can be found here. The Lexington, Kentucky band is made up of guitarists Mason Marble and Thomas Kidd, bassist Travis Moore, drummer Kenneth Downey, and vocalist Keaton Pierce. Since officially coming together in late 2013, Too Close To Touch has focused on refining their songwriting and artistic vision as a band. Too Close To Touch began to grow in popularity thanks to their DIY work ethic, buzz on social media and impressive demos, which caught the eyes (and ears) of Epitaph. In 2014, Too Close To Touch signed to Epitaph for the release of their self-titled EP, garnering the undivided attention of fans with their single “Deep End” that clocks in at 137k YouTube streams. In true Too Close To Touch fashion of making no haste, the band entered the studio with producer Erik Ron (Hands Like Houses, I The Mighty, Crown The Empire). The result of the relentless hard work of Ron and the band is Nerve Endings; an album that flows effortlessly from alternative to theatrical rock to post-hardcore. Nerve Endings is the perfect balance of dark and light. And just as meticulously cared for by band is their aesthetic. Taking cues from the 1975, Walk The Moon and the Neighbourhood, they’ve refined it to a look that’s mixes indie and classic cool, all while remaining 100-percent them. w/ I The Mighty, Hail The Sun 6/25 Orangevale, CA The Boardwalk 6/26 Salt Lake City, UT The Loading Dock 6/27 Denver, CO The Marquis Theater 6/28 Lawrence, KS Jackpot Music Hall 6/29 St. Louis, MO Firebird 6/30 St. Paul, MN Amsterdam 7/1 Chicago, IL Beat Kitchen 7/2 Pontiac, MI The Pike Room @ Crofoot 7/3 Toronto, ON Sneaky Dee’s 7/4 Montreal, QC L’Aize 7/5 Worcester, MA The Palladium 7/7 New York, NY Studio @ Webster Hall 7/8 Philadelphia, PA The Voltage Lounge 7/9 Chapel Hill, NC Local 506 7/10 Jacksonville, FL 1904 Music Hall 7/11 Orlando, FL Backbooth 7/12 Atlanta, GA The Masquerade 7/13 Nashville, TN Rocketown 7/15 Fort Worth, TX Tomcats 7/16 Houston, TX Walters 7/17 San Antonio, TX Jack’s Patio Bar 7/18 El Paso, TX Mesa Music Hall 7/19 Mesa, AZ Underground 7/22 Anaheim, CA Chain Reaction 7/23 San Diego, CA Voodoo Room @ House of Blues 7/24 Santa Cruz, CA Catalyst Atrium For More Information: |
