The Myrrors released their latest LP, Arena Negra, in March on Beyond Beyond is Beyond Records, and now they’re gearing up for a busy spring with a handful of Southwest dates in May and a stop at Austin Psych Fest’s Levitation. They hit the road this Sunday (5/3) and play the festival the following week, on Sunday, May 10th.
Arena Negra, the band’s first release for Beyond Beyond is Beyond, is a four track, 42-minute journey into The Myrrors’ droney, desert-influenced sound. A mix of mellow, slow-burning jams and dramatic psych freak outs, it features swirling layers of instrumentation and trance-inducing beats. The album is available in all formats via Beyond Beyond is Beyond’s Bandcamp.
