2014 was a huge year for Motema Music with [ 5 ] Grammy Nominations for Rufus Reid (Best Large Ensemble Album, Best Instrumental Composition), Rene Marie (Best Jazz Vocal Album), Arturo O’Farrill & The Latin Jazz Orchestra and The Pedrito Martinez Group (both for Best Latin Jazz Album). And The Cookers were selected as the iTunes Jazz Album of the Year!
