Dave Matthews Band will perform on CBS Interactive’s limited-run concert web series, LEGENDS ON LETTERMAN, tonight and pay a final visit to LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN tomorrow, May 8.LEGENDS ON LETTERMAN celebrates the musical acts that have performed on LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN throughout the 21 years the show has been on CBS.The webcast featuring Dave Matthews Band will be available live on CBS.com tonight at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT and on-demand on CBS.com, the CBS Apps and select CBS Audience Network partner sites.
The pair of performances celebrates Dave Matthews Band’s long history with the LATE SHOW, which dates back to February 24, 1995 – the evening that Letterman welcomed the band for its national television debut. Tomorrow’s appearance will mark the band’s 13th performance on the show.
Dave Matthews Bandwill kick off its 2015 North American tour on Wednesday, May 13, at Austin 360 Amphitheatre in Austin, TX. The band will be performing two full sets each evening on the run. Longtime friend Béla Fleck will play a few songs with the band during its two-night stands at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY (July 3 & 4) and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Englewood, CO (August 28 & 29). The Bama Green Project – an on-going partnership between Dave Matthews Band and Reverb – will be collecting non-perishable food donations at the main gate and monetary donations to supply food banks with local farm produce at each show along the tour route. Dave Matthews Band will head overseas in October for its first concert ever in the UAE (October 8 in Abu Dhabi) and its first European tour since 2010. The band will headline The 02 as part of BluesFest London on November 7.
Rolling Stone named Dave Matthews Band’s 2014 run as one of the hottest summer tours, observing how the change to a two-set format “resulted in plenty of surprises,” and The Charlotte Observer said, “Even when it’s Dave Matthews opening for Dave Matthews, there can’t be enough Dave Matthews in a night.” The Atlanta Journal noted, “the stage is where DMB built its empire and where the band remains master of its domain…DMB deserves kudos for always bringing their A-game to the stage.”

Dave Matthews Band has sold a collective 38 million CDs and DVDs combined. The group has been in the studio with producer Rob Cavallo, working on the follow up to Away From The World, which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 in 2012. The band ranked as the biggest ticket seller worldwide of the past decade and has sold over 19 million tickets since its inception.
