Due to the success of it’s original theatrical release, sales on iTunes and the recent airings on VH1’s Rock Doc Series, Fathom Events, More2Screen and Gravitas Ventures will bring the groups documentary Backstreet Boys: Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of to 400+ cinemas nationwide for a one night event. On May 13th at 7p.m. local time, fans will be able to see the film with additional footage and a special never-before-seen acoustic performance filmed at the Dominion Theatre in London on February 26.

Along with USA Today, NPR, Newsweek and The Los Angeles Times, Vice says, “If you’re interested at all in the way pop culture functions, the movie is definitely worth your time.”“What a great feeling to be continuing to celebrate our 20th Anniversary three years after the fact. We always say it but we really do have the greatest fans ever. I’m excited for our US fans to see this special acoustic performance we did while in London a few months back,” says Nick Carter. “For me, as we start to think about our next record, this documentary has been really cathartic as I get to witness the entire process of our last record on film.”

“I love that we’re continuing to tour in support of In A World Like This and have had the opportunity to perform in front of fans all over the world. It’s amazing that while we’re in Australia and Israel this week, our US fans will be coming together for this one-night event. What a great feeling to have this kind of impact,” says Brian Littrell.

Backstreet Boys: Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of is an intimate and unexpected take on the biggest boy band in history, who have successfully been able to sustain their career for an amazing 20 years. The film follows Nick, Howie Dorough, Brian, AJ and Kevin Richardson as they share their lives with us and relive their journey together, revealing new and old tensions that need confronting and resolving. “We’ve seen the best and worst of each other,” says AJ. “Twenty years is a long time … for anybody.”
