Tickets for the 16-date run go on sale to the general public on November 21, with a fan pre-sale beginning on November 19 at thedecemberists.com. The tour is in support of the band’s seventh studio album, What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World, which will be released January 20 in the U.S. on Capitol Records. The album will be released by Rough Trade Records in the U.K. and Europe the day prior, January 19.

Continue readingTrans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) is on tour now performing their rock opera The Christmas Attic live for the first time in arenas across the nation. The 2014 Winter Tour, presented by Hallmark Channel, began on November 13 and will find TSO playing more than 120 shows in 71 cities across North America before wrapping-up on Jan 4, 2015. While 1998’s The Christmas Attic features one of the band’s most popular songs “Christmas Canon,” surprisingly, it is the only album of The Christmas Trilogy never to be performed live.
